He finally has a name

After much discussion and a short list of names on a post-it I finally decided on Kozmo Kringle. It's kind of a spoof on Cosmo Kramer from Seinfeld. He's goofy and clumsy and quite entertaining like Kramer and since he's a Christmas puppy I had to work some thing Christmas-y into his name.

How it all began

Ok, so everyone who knows me knows that I have wanted a puppy forever. I put off any new pets and cherished every day with Ace, the greatest cat who ever lived. Sadly Ace left in November. All I wanted for Christmas was something new and furry to love. All of my dreams came true with this sweet puppy. I saw him posted on a friend's facebook wall when he went to the shelter. The poor puppy was found as a stray. He was found the same weekend Ace died.

Prior arrangements had been made and I was going crazy with excitement to meet my new puppy with a white tip tail, just like Ace.

Finally the door opened and this bouncy, springy, hyper and happy puppy came running to meet me. The rest is history. It was official and I went home with the best Christmas present ever on Saturday. To make the present even more perfect we got a tiny bit of snow Saturday night and Sunday morning I got to take my new puppy to the park and play in the snow. It is the best Christmas EVER!!

The shelter says he is about 5 months old and they think he is a Dalmatian/lab mix. Whatever he is he is cute and I love him. He still doesn't have a name. I am working on it.
